Last updated: 27 Sep 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sovireo Ltd (Sovireo, we, us or our), a company incorporated in New Zealand, collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you use the Sovireo platform and website (the Service).
We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles (IPPs). “Personal information” has the meaning given in that Act.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — name, email address, phone number, password, agency or workspace name and role.
- Billing details — billing name and address, and payment information, which is collected and processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Content you submit — property listing details, photos, footage, captions and other materials you upload or generate, which may include personal information of third parties (for example, people shown in photos).
- Voice recordings — voice samples you upload to create cloned-voice narration. We use them only to generate narration for your reels. You can remove your voice sample at any time from your brand kit.
- Communications — messages you send us, including support requests.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — features used, actions taken and dates and times of access.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers and similar technical information.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, to remember preferences and to understand how the Service is used.
Information from third parties
When you connect a social account (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or TikTok), we receive information from that platform in accordance with the permissions you grant, for example access tokens and basic profile or account details needed to publish on your behalf.
When you give us a listing link, Sovireo reads that public listing page to import the property details and photos.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service;
- generate, schedule and publish marketing content you request;
- process payments and manage your subscription;
- respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- send you service-related communications and, where you have not opted out, relevant product updates;
- monitor usage, ensure security, prevent fraud and enforce our terms; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
3. AI processing
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate captions, narration and video from the content you provide. Content you submit, including voice samples used to create your cloned voice, may be processed by us and by trusted AI service providers acting on our behalf to deliver these features. We do not sell your content, and we contractually require our AI providers to handle it securely and only as needed to provide the Service.
4. Disclosure of your information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, AI generation, analytics and email delivery), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Third-party platforms you choose to connect, to publish content on your behalf;
- Members of your workspace, where you use the Service as part of a shared workspace;
- Authorities or others where required or authorised by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property; and
- A successor entity in connection with a business sale, merger or restructure, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Overseas storage and disclosure
Some of our service providers are located, or store data, outside New Zealand. Where personal information is sent overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by comparable safeguards consistent with IPP 12 of the Privacy Act 2020.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it. We may retain certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal and accounting obligations.
8. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also:
- update your account details at any time within the Service;
- opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; and
- ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to clause 7.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframes required by the Privacy Act 2020.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, keep you signed in and analyse usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect how the Service works.
10. Children
The Service is intended for use by real estate professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you.
12. Contact us and complaints
